Terms of service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms explain purchases and use of DeployedSim travel eSIM services through deployedsim.com. The specific plan details shown before payment form part of your order.

The service and contact

DeployedSim offers travel eSIM plans, installation access, account management and support. Connectivity is delivered through eSIM suppliers and mobile-network partners. Contact DeployedSim at contact@deployedsim.com about your purchase, service, cancellation or complaint.

You must have legal capacity to make the purchase or permission from a person who does. Provide accurate contact and order information. These terms do not restrict mandatory consumer rights.

Check your device and plan

Before payment, check that your exact device model and regional variant support eSIM, that your device is carrier-unlocked, and that the plan covers your destination and intended travel dates. An internet connection is needed to download and install the profile.

The selected offer specifies its data allowance, validity, destinations, activation conditions and any supported networks or speed limits. A data plan does not include a telephone number, calls or SMS unless explicitly stated. Coverage and speed depend on location, network conditions, device capability and the plan's limits; uninterrupted service or a particular speed is not guaranteed.

Orders, prices and payment

Check the plan, currency and total shown at checkout before paying. Payments are processed through Stripe. Starting checkout or receiving an order reference is not proof of successful payment. eSIM delivery requires confirmed payment and successful supplier provisioning.

A paid order may briefly remain in preparation while the supplier allocates the eSIM. If payment or allocation is uncertain, contact support with your order reference before making another purchase. If we cannot supply the paid service, we will address the issue with an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required.

Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion or other fees under its own terms. An additional purchase or top-up requires its own payment; buying a plan does not by itself authorize recurring charges.

Delivery, activation and use

Installation details are made available through the order, account or delivery email after successful provisioning. Follow the instructions supplied for your device and plan. Installation and activation are different events: the validity period starts according to the purchased plan's activation rule.

Keep installation links, QR codes and activation codes private. Do not delete an installed profile or try to move it to another device without checking its reinstall and transfer conditions. Reinstallation or transfer may not be supported. Contact support if setup fails.

The plan ends when its allowance is exhausted or its validity expires, as specified in the offer. Usage shown in the account comes from supplier reports and can be delayed. Data used by background apps, updates and hotspot connections counts toward the allowance where applicable. Your home operator's roaming charges are separate.

Gifts and top-ups

When buying for someone else, check the recipient's device compatibility and provide accurate recipient details. Protect any claim link and share it only with the intended recipient. Recipient access does not transfer your payment method or receipt to them.

Top-ups are available only where a compatible offer is supported for the existing eSIM. The price, allowance and validity shown for that top-up apply. Do not assume a top-up extends the original expiry or rolls over unused data unless the offer explicitly states this. A new plan may require a new installation.

Cancellation and refunds

To request cancellation or a refund, email contact@deployedsim.com or contact support with your order reference, purchase email and a description of the request. If the service is not working, include the destination, device model and error message, but do not publish activation codes or payment details.

Where EU or EEA distance-contract withdrawal rights apply, you generally have 14 days from the conclusion of a service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. You can send a clear statement identifying your order and saying that you wish to withdraw. Exceptions depend on the type of service or digital supply and the legally required express consent and acknowledgement. Payment or installation alone is not treated by these terms as a blanket waiver of your statutory rights.

If you expressly request that a service start during the withdrawal period and then withdraw, a proportionate charge for service already supplied may apply where the law permits it. Any loss of the withdrawal right is subject to the applicable legal conditions. Refunds required for a valid withdrawal are made within the applicable statutory period, generally 14 days after notice, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed without additional fees.

For a missing, faulty or incorrectly supplied service, we investigate payment, provisioning and usage records and provide the remedy required by applicable law. Installation or usage does not remove rights relating to a defective or non-conforming service. Outside statutory rights, eligibility depends on the purchased offer and circumstances; unused data or a change of travel plans does not automatically guarantee a refund. Bank processing times can affect when a refund appears in your account.

Account security and acceptable use

You may sign in using an email code or Google where available. Keep your email and Google account secure, do not share sign-in codes, and report suspected unauthorized access promptly. You are responsible for using the service lawfully and following the plan's stated network restrictions.

Do not use the service for fraud, unauthorized access, abuse of networks or interference with other users. Access may be restricted where necessary for security, legal requirements or material misuse. Any restriction and its effect on paid services remain subject to applicable consumer rights.

Responsibility, complaints and changes

We are responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or removes remedies for failure to supply the contracted service. A travel data plan should not be your only means of accessing emergency assistance.

Please contact us first with any complaint so we can investigate and respond. You retain the right to contact a competent consumer authority or court, and any mandatory protections of the law applicable to your purchase. These terms do not require you to give up those rights or use exclusive private arbitration.

Changes to these terms apply to future purchases from their stated date. The terms and plan details applicable to an existing order are not retrospectively changed to remove your rights. Our privacy policy explains how account and order information is processed.
