Will an eSIM work on your phone?

Pick your phone, then your model. Most answers take two taps.

Not sure what you have? Dial this on the phone. An EID means eSIM works.

Any other phone: three checks

  1. Dial *#06#. If an EID shows up, the phone supports eSIM. On iPhone, the EID is also in Settings › General › About.
  2. It must not be locked to one carrier. On iPhone, Carrier Lock should say “No SIM restrictions”. On Android, ask the carrier that sold you the phone.
  3. You need internet, Wi-Fi or mobile data, once to install the eSIM.
